The Children of the World Totem Pole is the only major totem pole that isn't at Brockton Point! So, to say that you saw all of the Totem Poles at Stanley Park, you need to see this one at the Miniature Train area!
This plaque says: Variety's Children
This totem was carved by Francis Horne of Chilliwack, B.C., during the 64th annual Variety Clubs International Convention (1991) in Vancouver.
The mother stands at the top of the pole embracing her twins who are joined by their sister. &nbsb;Below them is the father with his son proudly crouched in front of him. The Totem honours the children of the world.
Sponsored by 101-CFMI (Vancouver's Best Rock) and the Junior League of Greater Vancouver.
The Children of the World Totem Pole is NOT located at the Totem Poles area at Brockton Point in Stanley Park. The Children of the World Totem Pole is located at the Stanley Park Miniature Train area in the center of Stanley Park off of Pipeline Road.
