The 125th Anniversary Tree was planted on September 27, 2013 to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Stanley Park. It was planted at Chaythoos, which is where Stanley Park was officially opened 125 prior to the planting of this tree.
The plaque says:

This western red cedar was planted as a gift to the future on Stanley Park's 125th Anniversary September 27, 2013.
The 125th Anniversary tree is located at Chaythoos, which is a lookout on the north side of Stanley Park between Lumbermens' Arch and Prospect Point.
