In 2019, Harbour Air announced that they were planning to be the first airline in the world to commercially fly all-electric planes! They are taking their Beaver aircraft and putting electric engines on it. Basically, the weight of the batteries will replace the weight of the fuel. After the Beaver has been proven to work they will look to make their Otter aircraft electric as well.
