The Vancouver Christmas Market is a German-inspired holiday market filled with festive food, warm drinks, and fun holiday activities!

This annual event runs from mid-November until Christmas Eve at Jack Poole Plaza along Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver.

The market takes place mainly outdoors, but it features a large heated dining tent. Please dress warmly for the winter weather.

The market is a wonderful place to get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate with friends. You can walk around, listen to holiday music and Entertainment, join in the Activities, browse gift huts, and enjoy traditional Food and Drinks.

The Vancouver Christmas Market is also great for a date night. It includes a romantic Lover's Lane and a Love Lock light display!

The 2026 Vancouver Christmas Market returns for its 16th year! It runs from November 16, 2026 to December 24, 2026.

There are many new experiences to enjoy this year!

New this season: the Wishing Forest, the Secret Wall Cocktail Hut, the Fire Pit Lounge, new German Village facades at the entrance, and a limited-edition Collectable Mug — alongside a new visual identity and all your returning favourites, including the Pyramid, the Carousel, vintage Alley Press photo prints, and Snow Showers every 30 minutes.

There will be over 90 wooden huts in 2026 featuring many new vendors and holiday gifts.

The Vancouver Christmas Market offers daily live entertainment events.

Performers play live holiday music from the Flying Stage, located on the second story of the Christmas Pyramid.

Performance Times: Weekdays from 4:30 PM to 9:30 PM, and Weekends from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

There are many fun activities to do at the market:

• The Holiday Carousel is back and free to ride for all visitors!
• There is a fun Scavenger Hunt for children across the grounds.
• Explore Lovers' Lane, a romantic pathway lit with 20,000 twinkling lights and mistletoe.
• Visit the Love Lock installation where you can attach a padlock with your partner. You can bring a lock or buy one on site.
• Walk inside the giant Walk-in Christmas Tree adorned with 36,000 twinkling lights and ornaments.
• Relax at the WinterDeck, an outdoor space with photo frames featuring view of the North Shore mountains.
• Warm up in the Alpen Haus, a large heated tent with seating, food, and ocean views.
• Marvel at the tall Christmas Pyramid, where live music is performed every day.

The Holiday Carousel at the Vancouver Christmas Market is a classic ride filled with colorful wooden horses!

Thanks to event sponsors, carousel rides are free with admission.

Safety Note: Children must be at least 2 years old and 36 inches tall to ride the carousel.

Many food huts offer delicious European snacks and hearty meals at various prices.

• Local distillery spirits and regional BC wines.

Dozens of artisan huts sell handcrafted holiday items and winter gifts. They make wonderful Christmas presents for family and friends!

• Freshwater pearls and fine jewelry
• Handmade bath products and drink bombs
• Olive wood serving boards and gift boxes

• Gourmet honey, herb salts, and mulling spices

Tickets are available online and at the gate. Tickets cover admission only. Food, drinks, and market purchases are extra.

We recommend buying tickets online early. Weekend slots and dates near Christmas sell out quickly!

You must select a 30-minute arrival window when buying tickets. You must arrive during this time slot, but you can stay inside as long as you like.

There are over 400 underground parking spaces beneath the Vancouver Convention Centre and 750 additional spaces under Canada Place right next door.

Metered street parking is available on nearby city streets, but spots fill up quickly. Free parking is not available near Jack Poole Plaza.
