The Vancouver Christmas Market is a German-inspired Christmas market featuring food, drink, and activities related to Christmas!
This is an annual event that takes place from mid-November to Christmas Eve at Jack Poole Plaza on Coal Harbour in downtown Vancouver. It is the only European-style Christmas Market in the lower mainland.
The market is mainly outdoors, but does have an indoor heated tented seating area. Be sure to dress appropriately for the weather.
The Vancouver Christmas Market is a great place to go to get into the Christmas spirit and socialize. You can stroll around listening to Christmas music and Entertainment and do some of the Activities, browse the wares in the vendor huts, buy christmas gifts, and enjoy some traditional Food and Drinks.

The Vancouver Christmas Market has live entertainment events.
Live performances of Christmas songs will take place from the 'Flying Stage' which is on the 2nd storey of the Christmas Pyramid.
The live entertainment will take place from 4:30pm to 9:30pm on Weekdays, and from 12pm to 9:30pm on Weekends.

The Holiday Carousel is back and is free to ride in 2023!
There is a Scavenger Hunt for children.
There is a Lovers' Lane which is an extended walkway with 20,000 twinkling lights with mistletoe at the end.
There is a Love Lock installation where you can attach a lock to show your love to your significant other. You can either purchase a lock or bring your own.
There will be a huge walk-in Christmas Tree that has 36,000 twinkling lights and ornaments.
There will be a WinterDeck is an outdoor area that features a large photoframe where you can get pictures of the north shore mountains. &bnsp;It has lots of seating to sit in and enjoy some of the food and drinks that you purchase.
The Alpen Haus is a large tent that is covered and heated. It has views of the north shore and seating where you can sit and enjoy some of the food and drinks that you purchase
There is the huge Christmas Pyramid which towers over the site. This is where the live Entertainment will take place.
The Holiday Carousel at the Vancouver Christmas Market is a traditional carousel with horses!
For 2023, the carousel ride has been sponsored so it is free to ride.
To ride the carousel children must be 2 years old and 36" tall.

Tickets are available online and on site. Tickets are good for admission only, i.e. Food, drinks, and purchases made inside are extra.
Be sure to buy your tickets as soon as possible because they are sold out especially on weekends and just before Christmas.
You need to book a 30 minute arrival time slot when you purchase your ticket. You need to arrive within this 30 minute time slot. However, you can stay inside as long as you wish.
