2023 Christmas at Canada Place
Christmas at Canada Place is an annual Christmas event which takes place at Canada Place in downtown Vancouver.
This is a free family-friendly event.
Stroll along the West Promenade of Canada Place to the North Point to see Christmas Trees, the Iconic Canada Place Sails lit up for Christmas, the Woodward's Department Store Christmas Window Displays, Light displays, and Chrismoose, the 15ft tall Moose light sculpture!

2023 Schedule (Dates/Times)
Christmas at Canada Place takes place from December 1, 2023 to January 2, 2024.
It is open from 8am to 11pm each and every day during this period including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve, and New Years Day!
Woodward's Christmas Window Displays
The Woodward's Christmas Window Displays are very intricate window displays that used to be in the windows of the now defunct Woodward's Department stores.
Enjoy looking at these displays as you walk along the West Promenade of Canada Place.

Avenue of Trees is a row of Christmas trees decorated by various corporate sponsors.
It is located along the Canada Trail on the West Promenade of Canada Place.

Christmas at Canada place is one of the few events that is open on Christmas Eve. The Vancouver Christmas Market, which is close by, is open for part of the day on Christmas Eve.
Where can I park for Christmas at Canada Place?
There is parking under Canada Place and the Trade and Convention Centre.
Additionally, there is lots of street-meter parking and other pay-parking lots in the downtown area around Canada Place.
There is no free parking near Canada Place. Take transit if you can. Waterfront station (for Skytrain, Canada Line, and Sea Bus) is next to Canada Place.
Are there washrooms at the Christmas at Canada Place event?
Yes, there are washrooms available inside Canada Place and about half way down the promenade at the Flying Whale Waterfront Cafe which is next to the Fly Over Canada attraction up one level from the promenade.
FlyOver Canada
There is another non-free Christmas event at Canada Place at FlyOver Canada. We recommend that you buy tickets online in advance to guarantee that you can get into this attraction.
FlyOver Canada shows a Christmas movie called: Soar with Santa from November 16, 2023 to January 2, 2023.
FlyOver Canada is an amusement park type attraction where you sit in a seat that simulates you flying by removing the floor beneath you. There is a movie shown in front of you. There is also wind and mist to add to the feeling of flying!
