The Vancouver Aquatic Centre is a large city-run indoor recreation centre complete with a full public swimming pool, expansive weight rooms, and localized fitness facilities.
The aquatic facility main tank features a large indoor 50-metre swimming pool equipped with an Olympic-scale diving tower (5m, 7.5m, and 10m platforms), spring diving boards (1m and 3m), an active rope swing, and an integrated water slide. A public sauna and fully equipped weight room gym are also situated inside the complex layout.
The Vancouver Aquatic Centre serves as the historic training headquarters and home to the competitive Canadian Dolphin Swim Club.
The facility has closed permanently. No regular public swim sessions, fitness classes, or gym hours remain active at this location.
