Summer Live 2011 in Stanley Park
To celebrate the monumental 125th anniversary of Stanley Park, the City of Vancouver coordinated a massive, two-day cultural festival extravaganza across the park grounds.
The grand celebration featured a wide array of public tours, live musical acts, multi-stage events, and rare open-house access to localized heritage buildings that are never normally open to the general public.
Excited attendees were given exclusive opportunities to step inside the historic Malkin Bowl backstage facilities, explore the administrative spaces of the old Rose Cottage, and tour the specialized facilities of the Vancouver Police Mounted Squad stables.
