Lumbermens' Arch Picnic Area in Stanley Park
The Lumbermens' Arch Picnic Area is a non-reservable area. There are a few picnic tables only, i.e. no cooking facilities. The Lumbermen's Arch Cafe is nearby. There is a very large grass field at Lumbermens' Arch which frequently hosts large events. You may not be able to picnic in this field when the events are on because they will take up the whole field. This is a good place to picnic if you have children because they can use the Variety Kids Water Park and the Lumbermen's Arch playground. There is also a sizeable parking lot so you can drive and park relatively close. You can also buy food at the concession stand.
Note: If you have a group of more than 50 people you will need a permit from the city.
Where is the Lumbermens Arch Picnic Area in Stanley Park?
The Lumbermens' Arch Picnic Area is located on the north side of Stanley Park just off Stanley Park Drive and the Stanley Park Seawall. Nearby is the Variety Kids Water Park, Vancouver Aquarium, and Miniature Train.
