The Variety Kids Water Park in Stanley Park in Vancouver is a large FREE outdoor spray water park that is a great place for children to have fun, get wet and cool off!
This water park is also sometimes referred to the as the 'Stanley Park Water Park' or the 'Lumbermens Arch Water Park'.
The water park is unsupervised so parents need to keep an eye on their children.
The water park consists of different fixtures that shoot water up in the air or on you in many directions. Additionally, there is a large rock structure, called the Fox's Den, that children can go into and climb on!
2022-07-19 UPDATE: The Water Park is finally OPEN! Enjoy!
2022-07-13 UPDATE: The Water Park has NOT re-opened yet in 2022. The issue was that the clorinated water from the water park flows directly into the ocean so the Federal fisheries department did not want this. The Parks Board has come up with a temporary solution to this problem so the water park will re-open by the end of the week!
Dates open: Open now until the end of September, 7 days a week.
Times open: 10am to 7pm.
Nearby is the The Lumbermen's Arch food concession is close by and there are some picnic tables and a large grass area where you can picnic. There are washrooms nearby also.
Prior to the water park being built in 1987, there was a sea-water filled swimming pool at this location for about 50 years.
