There are a number of tour companies that offer bus tours that include a tour of Stanley Park. The most popular is a Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tour where you can get on or off at any stop for as long as you want. There are also Guided Bus Tours that have stops in Stanley Park.
In July 2017, the Vancouver Trolley Company merged with the Westcoast Sightseeing to be the largest local bus tour company.
Westcoast Sightseeing(Gray Line) offers a Hop-on, Hop-Off bus tour that has stops in and near Stanley Park, Coal Harbour, and False Creek on their "Park route". There are two types of buses: large convertible (clear plastic topped) buses and San Franciso style (but gas powered) trolley looking buses. The buses have "GPS-triggered commentary in English, French, Spanish, German, Korean, Japanese, and Mandarin". You can use your own headphones. They have a live interactive map showing where the buses are so you know where the buses are at. You can start at any stop(depending on the route purchased). You must book in advance. Entry fees to paid attractions are NOT included.

There are dual route passes: Adult $54(13+), Child(3-12) $27 for a 24 hour pass.
From October 1 until April 30, the frequency is every 40 minutes. From May 1 to Sep 30, the frequency is about every 20 minutes. The entire loop (if you just stay on the bus) takes about 3 hours.
Starting May 1, 2019, Landsea Tours and Adventures, will launch a luxury Hop-On, Hop-Off Vancouver City Tour. It will be a year round 2.15 hour loop, fully-narrated tour. 2019 Prices(until 30Apr2010) are Adult: C$65, Child C$35 taxes included. It will be a premium service concentrating on the downtown neighbourhoods (Chinatown, Gastown, Yaletown, West End) and Stanley Park. There will be live english-language commentary by a guide. The buses will be luxury double-decker buses with a glass skylight.
