2026 Vancouver Water Fight in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada
The Vancouver Water Fight is an annual event that takes place around the Lumbermens' Arch and Fox's Den Spray Park area in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada.
It is Vancouver's largest water fight! Hundreds of people normally turn up for this epic, fun-filled summer event.
Participants bring their water guns, super soakers, buckets, and water bottles to engage in an all-out friendly water battle following a few basic community rules.
The 2026 Vancouver Waterfight will take place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
2026 marks the 15th edition of the annual Vancouver Waterfight.

2026 Vancouver Waterfight Rules
Here are the basic rules of engagement:
- Water weapons only: Do not bring any weapons other than water pistols, buckets, spray bottles, and soakers.
- No realistic guns: Do not bring water guns that resemble real firearms to avoid safety concerns or police response.
- Avoid water balloons: Water balloons create latex litter. If you bring water balloons, you are expected to stay afterward and help pick up all the pieces!
- Do not target bystanders: Spray only active, willing participants. Leave passersby, spectators, and strollers alone!
- Protect your gear: Keep cell phones, car keys, and electronics in waterproof bags. Nobody is responsible for wet cameras or devices.
- Dress to get soaked: Wear appropriate clothes or fun costumes! Consider wearing goggles or sunglasses to protect your eyes.
- No dyed water: Use clean tap/park water only—dyed water will stain clothing.
- Water conservation: If dry weather conditions persist, be mindful and modest in the amount of water used.
- Unsanctioned & self-policed: This is an informal community gathering. Be responsible, watch out for slippery surfaces, and look out for one another.
- Spread the word: Tell your friends, share the event, and get ready for a soak!
- Rain or shine: The event takes place regardless of the weather.
