The Bright Nights Christmas Lights and Displays are on daily from late November to early January each year, except Christmas Day (Dec 25) when it is closed.
This is a fundraiser for the BC Professional Firefighters Burn Fund! Please come out and support this charity!
Entry to the area with the lights and displays is BY DONATION!
There is usually an antique fire truck, giant reindeer, and a light tunnel.
Over the years, some families that had large Christmas displays at their homes have donated them to Bright Nights! Here are some of the major donations:
In 2017, the family of Beverley O'Toole donated her extensive Christmas decorations to Bright Nights. Beverley had been decorating her Shaughnessy home for over 30 years. Her display were so extensive that they filled a 50 foot shipping container! They include giant cutouts of a christmas train, cartoon poodles, Santa with his sleigh, etc. Beverley passed away at the age of 87. Her family decided to donate her collection to Bright Nights so the displays could be enjoyed for years to come!
Also, in 2017, Perry and Paula Blascak from Maple Ridge donated their extensive christmas displays and lights to Bright Nights. These displays include 42 handmade pieces including 2 3D mooses, Santa, igloo, among others displays.
The Bright Nights Christmas Lights and Displays take place at Stanley Park Junction in Stanley Park, Vancouver, Canada.
